HMX-Ambiator is an eco-friendly, energy efficient and healthy alternative to conventional air-conditioning system developed by HMX Systems Private Limited, an A.T.E. group company. It is a two stage Indirect Direct Evaporative Cooling (IDEC) system which employs a sensible heat exchanger in the first stage to cool the supply air without addition of moisture to it and an adiabatic heat exchanger in the second stage to cool the supply air.

IPC 11550 plant optimization control offers the greatest opportunity for energy savings in the all variable speed - centralized air conditioning plant.

The IPC 11550 employs the Hartman LOOP^® Natural Curve sequencing logic to ensure that the variable speed chillers are always operating as close as possible to their maximum efficiency for a given entering condenser water temperature (ECWT) or ambient air temperature.

To reach the optimum ECWT, the IPC 11550 maintains the greatest active surface area on the cooling towers by slowing down the condenser water pump and tower fan, as opposed to staging off cooling towers.  This can lead to typical annual chilled water plant energy savings of 34% - 57%, depending on the type of application.
The plant optimization control typically keeps the total annual average chilled water plant power consumption below 0.6 kW/ton, a significant improvement when compared versus other best in class HVAC plants operating between 0.8 kW/ton and 1.2 kW/ton.

The IPC 11550 system also provides full remote control capabilities for HVAC system communications through web-based interfaces, enabling users to troubleshoot, predict equipment failures, receive system alarms and warnings, rotate duty status of equipment, and switch out suspect hardware from service.
